I was asked yesterday how to replace the two roll spools that were
taken from the Central Park, New York, carousel's band organ when the
former concessionaire was ousted by the City of New York and replaced
with a new operator.  The organ takes two Wurlitzer 150 roll spools.

In the process of checking out the phone number given several years
ago by the late Mike Kitner for machinist Robert Ryesky of Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, I found that his number has changed.  It is now
1-717-243-0121.

Another good machinist is Robert "Bob" Streicher, whose mailing address
is P.O. Box 39, Pond Eddy, New York, although his residence is across
the Delaware River in Shohola, Pennsylvania.  His phone number is
1-570-559-7403.  I hope he is still in business, because there was talk
of his retiring soon.

Of course there are other excellent machinists with mechanical music
skills.  These are just two I happen to know and have dealt with.
It would be helpful to know of others the MMD'ers would recommend.
