AMICA Convention Deadline Extended

Due to great demand, we have extended the 2010 AMICA Convention
registration deadline to Monday, June 14th, without a late fee.
We will ask the hotel to extend their special rates to our organization
to June 14th.  At present we are uncertain if they will be able to
continue this rate.  If the Hyatt continues to get bookings from our
organization's members, they are more likely to extend the special
rate.

Please book your room as soon as possible to avoid a higher room rate.
If you book your room on-line, please remember to enter the "G-MUSI"
code in the Special "Business/Group Rate" box.  If you have any
difficulties booking on-line, please let us know at 1-716-656-9583.

By the way, Reason #32 for coming to the AMICA convention in Buffalo,
New York -- the weather!  Despite the uninformed opinion that it snows
in Buffalo all year round, Buffalo actually has very pleasant summer
weather.  It is usually sunny or partly cloudy during the daytime
with temperatures in the mid 70s to low 80s.  Evening temperatures do
sometimes go into the mid 60s.  During the daytime there is usually
a light lake breeze, making the day more enjoyable.  Dawn and dusk
are usually the calmest times of the day with little breeze.  The
summertime climate is extremely fine.  Come and discover this yourself!
