Seek Antique Plug for Ampico Power Cord

I need an adapter plug for an Ampico A rebuilt in 1912.  The socket
looks like two Ts lying down, with a circle in the middle, kind of
like this:  -l0l-

Does anyone have an adapter or will it be best to splice the cord
and attach it to a new plug?
