FS: Barrel Piano by P. Pompero of Philadelphia
By Mark Armstrong

Hello, when my father died I inherited what I think is a barrel piano.
My brother lost his house and now I have no place to store it. I need
to get rid of it by around November 5th. No offer refused. If you or
someone you know who can pick it up by November 5th and restore it to
its former glory, please let me know I would greatly appreciate it.
(You have my permission to list this in your want ads if possible.)

It is located in storage in the San Francisco, California, area. The
plaque on the front says it was made by the Pomero, P. & Co. They were
manufacturers of hand-cranked and coin-operated mechanical pianos,
orchestrions and other instruments from 1894 through early 1900s. The
barrel piano plays music by pins mounted in a revolving barrel (I have
two barrels) causing piano like hammers to strike the stings. It also
has a cymbal, a bass and a snare drum. I can email pictures.

If you are serious please contact me via email and I will arrange with
you for it to be picked it up. Other wise sadly I may have to have it
destroyed.

Thanks,
Mark Armstrong
