Versions Of "Ching Chong"
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Does anyone know when QRS added the second chorus after each
verse in Ching-Chong? The roll I have, which is 93 years old, has only
one chorus after each verse. I have heard other QRS 186 versions which
have two choruses after each verse.

Looking at the sheet music, it's clear that the song was written with
only one chorus after each verse. So, I wonder if QRS decided that the
roll was too short, and decided at some later date, to add a second
chorus after each verse.

Just curious.

Musically,
John A Tuttle
