Seek Polyphon 19-5/8" Musical Box Tuning Scale
By Ellen Thomsen

Hello out there! Does anyone have a map showing the note placement
on the double combs of a 19-5/8" Polyphon music box? It does not seem
to be a simple multi-octave run -- there are multiple teeth on each
comb for each note. I am assuming that this is to enable the machine
to play complex multi-instrument arrangements, and to repeat notes more
rapidly than the mechanism can handle on one comb.

I would like to arrange music for this size disc, but I need to explore
the limits of the machine.

Thanks
Ellen E. Thomsen
