Zenph Recreates Sound of Great Musicians
By Albert Petrak

Hoping to clear up the misunderstanding, to all of you:

Annoyed by the continuing use of the spelling "Liebeslied" (Love's song)
in reference to both the Zenph issues and the previous releases from
several outlets, I was trying to pound into the heads of those who keep
up the mistake, by insisting that what took place with Rachmaninoff is
simply that he liked the idea of opposites: Liebesleid (Love's Sorrow)
and Liebesfreud (Love's Joy).

So I'll be brief. Copy this out and paste it near your roll collection:

1. There is no composition by Fritz Kreisler called "Liebeslied"
(Love's Song).

2. There is a well-known piece by Kreisler called "Liebesleid
(Love's Sorrow). Note the juxtaposition of "ie" as opposed to "ei".

3. There is a very well-known piece by Kreisler called "Liebesfreud"
(Love's Joy). Sergei Rachmaninoff transcribed both pieces and recorded
them a number of times.

Lesson to be learned: Never use the spelling "Liebeslied" in reference
to the one.

End of Lecture. Thanks for your patience.
