My New Ampico Acquisition
By Douglas Heckrotte

I'm tickled to report that I have purchased a 6' 4" 1920 Knabe grand
with a working early Ampico A. It came with about 250 rolls, to add
to the 50 rolls I'd collected over the last 50 years, and four roll
cabinets. The piano has been well kept with pinblock, action work
and strings, as well as having its finish restored. The Ampico was
rebuilt about 40 years ago. I will be having the piano worked over
as necessary and the finish re-restored, and the Ampico re-rebuilt.

As a result, take note of two opportunities in my 'for sale' articles.
