QRS Expression Rolls To Swap
By John Phillips

Hello MMD. I have been shifting rolls around, to make room in the
top of my wardrobe for this year's batch of nectarine champagne. Three
months in the warmth should render the champagne ready for disgorging
and then... drinking!

In the process I came across three QRS rolls that I believe I mentioned
to MMD readers several years ago. There are two QRS Autographic
Automatic rolls. One is No. 20017, with two numbers: 1, "Sweetest
Story Ever Told", and 2, "Love's Old Sweet Song", played by Lee S.
Roberts (who else!). The other is No. 80791, "Evening Chimes Reverie",
by Marzian, played by Silvio Marzini. A note I wrote to myself ages
ago states that these are medium sized rolls in excellent condition,
and also that they may be Apollo-X rolls. I've no idea whether or not
that is correct.

The other roll is a large Solo-elle roll, No. C-98. It's "The Cascade",
Op. 139 No. 5, by Bendel, played by Anton Tyssowsky. My note says this
roll is in as-new condition.

I have Recordo, Duo-Art and an as yet unrestored Ampico players. If
anybody would like to swap a roll of any of those systems for the rolls
mentioned above, I'd be glad to hear from you.

John Phillips in Hobart, Tasmania.
