Anyone interested in rolls and arrangements by Dave Stumpf could try

He talked about his methods at the COAA Arrangers' Seminar at the
Olcott Rally this summer. He writes out his arrangements on music
paper, then lays out the rolls with triangles and traditional scale
tools. No MIDI involved!
