CraftROBO Cutting Machine For Music Rolls
By Mark Williamson

In MMD 120803 Ed Chaban asks about adapting a Cricut machine to
create music rolls. My wife is a scrapbooker. She tells me that the
Cricut machine uses cartridges which contain fonts to be cut out of
paper for use in scrapbooking.

She has a machine in the cupboard called a CraftROBO which I have
thought could be used for making music rolls. This machine doesn't
use cartridges but is operated directly from a PC. It works a bit like
a printer but instead of printing ink or toner on the paper it actually
cuts it out. I haven't really had time to investigate my wife's toy
but I think it has definitely has possibilities. The web site for the
CraftROBO is http://www.graphteccorp.com/craftrobo/index.html
