FS: Band Organ Facade, Figures & Roll Frame
By Fred Dahlinger

For sale:

1. Marenghi organ façade: An original and rare Charles Marenghi & Co.
façade, circa 1908, unique in USA, one in Europe, from Model No. 49,
49-keys. Original carvings. Includes upper and lower center pieces,
two side wings and top piece. Fits an organ case of approximately
48" wide by 66" tall, facade overall height approximately 85".
Overall width is approximately 101". Also included are pieces added
to expand the width and height for a case 72" wide and 72" tall.
$3,900.00 for all.

2. Band organ figures: A bandleader and a bell ringer, 27" tall,
finely carved facial features, nicely proportioned bodies, both in
original paint. Make unknown, probably French, 1880s-1890s. These
figures would work nicely with the Marenghi façade above, a complete
presentation. Note: a matching bell ringer has been commissioned
and price will be adjusted accordingly upon completion. $4,200.00
for the two figures.

3. Wurlitzer Style 165 Roll Organ Apparatus: An after-market Wurlitzer
165 roll playing apparatus, vintage 1968, as removed from converted
European organ. Includes roll frame with electric motor drive,
electric motor suction box, stack and all materials. The apparatus
is adaptable to play Style 125 or 150 rolls, too. The roll frame is
Wurlitzer, the rest is not. Perfect for someone wanting the roll
apparatus for the Wurlitzer roll-playing organ they want to build.
Includes 165 tracker bar. $1900.00

Note: Also available are bass drums and snare drums with shelves and
actions; a 24-note glockenspiel assembly, complete with action; and
a gearmotor for driving a crankshaft.

All items sold "as is, where is," in south central Wisconsin, without
any stated or implied warranty or serviceability. Removal, packing,
loading, shipment, insurance, etc., is buyer's responsibility; limited
local assistance is available to "make it happen." On-site inspections
are recommended.
