Most of the copyright dates are accurate, others listed could have been
earlier.

"Orchids In The Moonlight", tune #1, was played in the movie "Flying
Down To Rio". One version of this film featured at least 20 accordions
in the orchestra playing this tune!

"Olé Guapa (Hello Beautiful!)", tune #3, was composed by Dutchman Arie
Maasland under his artist name Ary Malando. This tango gives a good
flavor of the Argentine style melody. "Tango Of Roses", #5, was in the
movie "Casablanca".

"Gran Muñeca", #9, and "El Chiquito", #12, appear to be virtually
unknown to most people, but they demonstrate the kind of tangos,
habaneras and maxixes and syncopated piano music enjoyed in Latin
America in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Credit for the folio assembled for this music must be given to Bill
Matthiesen, who has done much research to obtain this music for its
presentation, visit http://www.bfv.com/tangobook/index.html
