Unknown Ragtime Tunes on Swiss Musical Movement
By Richard Dutton

Two of the tunes Jere Ryder submitted for identification are familiar
to me because they appear on the cob roller organ.

Tune #8 is "Silver Heels", which, according to sources on the Internet,
is by Charles N. Daniels and dates from 1905. To hear the roller organ
version of it, go to http://www.rollerorgans.com/ it is cob #1152.

Tune #7 is to me clearly "Feather Your Nest" but, interestingly, that
is a much later tune than the others (1896, 1897 and 1905), with sheet
music dating from 1920. That tune was #1256 on the roller organ.

I will try to identify some of the other four unidentified tunes as well,
but none of the titles immediately jumps out at me.
