Seek BluesTone Ampico 176A "St. Louis Blues"
By Marc Sachnoff

Hello Mechanical Music Lovers, I've recently visited a fellow AMICA
member up here in the great Pacific Northwest. He played me a copy of
BluesTone 176A, "St. Louis Blues", played by John Arpin. Bob Taylor
did a wonderful job coding it for the Ampico and it's a rippin' good
version.

Unfortunately, the roll is out of stock on Rob Deland's BluesTone site
and I'm not sure if it will be issued again. Does anyone have an extra
copy for sale?

By the way, the Adam Carroll version of the St. Louis Blues -- which
I had expected to be a watered down performance -- is really quite
lively. I don't know if it's been re-cut, but it's a roll worth
playing.

Warmly from the chilly Pacific Northwest,
