Instrument Moving Advice
By Jim Crank

Not a horror story; but just a piece of advice. Take good digital
pictures from all angles and inside the instrument if possible, include
the blanket padding and wrapping protection. Don't give the shipper
any weasel room about condition.

Then using the better grade camera ability, have it insert the date on
the picture. Print them out and give a copies to the shipper if he is
not a professional piano mover and get his signature acknowledging the
condition and the set of photos.

If he refuses, get a better shipper or take the time and do it yourself.
