Cleaning Kimball Model D Player Transmission
By Don Teach

I really don't know a Kimball D from a Z but I have witnessed that
the plastic used in the 1960s is sensitive to certain types of oils.
Some oils cause these plastic gears to expand and eventually crack.
I wish I knew more. Can some of our plastic experts help me?
I was able to replace the gears with some made by Player Care.
