Mechanical Music in Paris
By Jean-Marc Lebout

In response to Emily Kingsley's question, the museum you visited in the
past was the 'Henri Triquet' museum. It closed more than ten years ago
and the collection was sold to a Belgian collector. This weekend, a
part of this collection comes to auction at Galerie de Chartres.

In Paris you have no more a specific place with only mechanical music
instruments, but there are two interesting places to visit: Le Musée
d'art forain ( http://www.arts-forains.com/ ) and the Phono Muséum
Paris ( http://phonomuseum.fr/ ).

Amitiés,
Jean-Marc Lebout
