Replacing Duo-Art Pump Bearings
By Jeff Mason

Greetings, I would like to replace the bearings in the arms of
a Duo-Art 17-inch pump with a new self sealed type bearing. I have
exhausted myself with trying to keep the original bearings and cones
working without knocking.

Can anyone offer some advice as to what bearings they may have used
that produced good results? I have installed a sleeve into the race
and used a fairly low cost sealed bearing and they failed after a short
use. Any feedback on a good bearing to use for this application is
appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Jeff Mason
