Tuning the Wurlitzer 105 Band Organ
By David Dewey

In the discussion of tuning the Wurlitzer 105 pipes, Jim Quashnock
stated, "These instruments are solo instruments not meant to be
played with other instruments. So just like the bagpipe I play,
exact pitch isn't as important as the instrument being in tune to
itself."

Hmmm. Jim, isn't using "bagpipes" and "in tune" in one sentence an
oxymoron? <smile>

(Bagpipers get no respect! Someone asked me, "Why do bagpipers march
while they play?" I responded, "First, they're trying to get away from
that noise! Secondly, it's harder to hit a moving target!")

Okay, I may be here all week, but back to your sponsors!
