Harvey Roehl's "Roehl Road Car"
By Larry Kerecman

During the ten years I was in Ithaca, New York, I usually drove through
Vestal on trips to visit my family in New Jersey. When I stopped in to
see Marion and Harvey he would occasionally suggest that we take the
"Roehl Road Car" to go to dinner or somewhere else nearby.

The first time he said that I had no idea what he was talking about
since he joined the first two words together. Because trains and
trolleys were long gone from this area I was totally mystified until
he opened the door to his automobile in the driveway -- aha!

Getting de-Roehl-ed,

Larry Kerecman
