Calliope at Disneyland

The note you added about playing the calliope was interesting!
Did you use the gas engine or the electric motor?

 [ Disneyland replaced the gasoline engine with a golf cart
 [ electric motor and battery to power the calliope while
 [ performing in the park.  Probably this was required by
 [ the park's liability insurance.  -- Robbie
