Value of Rzebitschek Music Box Movement
By Nancy Fratti

In answer to the value of the Rzebitschek movement: unrestored,
depending on the tune arrangement and actual tune titles, they can
sell for up to about $500 in that size. There are larger sizes
(I've seen them with 10" cylinders!) that would, of course, be
worth more.

These Austrian movements seem to play for a _long_ time per tune,
compared to similar sized Swiss movements. Some of them sound sweet,
some sound 'plunky'.

Enjoy!
