For Sale:  Parting out 1920 autopiano. Email me at brokendreams187@gmail.com if you need parts. -- (Posted 13 January 15)

For Sale or Trade:  10,000 + Piano Rolls in So. Cal. Among others, I have had the hobby of collecting piano rolls and pianos for years, and it is time to get down to just one hobby. I have not had time to enjoy the piano roll hobby for a few years now, so I am selling everything but one piano and about 300 rolls. I have 10,000+ rolls for sale for $10,000.00. That equates to a dollar a roll or less. I would also consider a trade for an antique tractor plus some $ to pay for packing supplies (boxes, tape etc). The last time I counted, I had 15,000 rolls, but sold some off over the years. There may be as many as 12,000 left that I am not keeping, but I will be safe in saying that there is at least 10,000 rolls. They are mostly 88 note, but a small percentage consists of 65 note (about 600) and reproducing rolls (Duo-Art & Ampico). There are a few weird ones in the batch as well. Most of my personal collection consists of QRS red box, and the bulk of the rest is also QRS. There are many that have only been played a few times, and a hundred or so that are NOS. I have a photobucket slide show that shows the collection at: http://s27.photobucket.com/user/yahoojoe2/slideshow/rolls
The photos are only a representative sample, and there is much more to see in person. I am also willing to sell the roll cabinets as well. I need the space for other things, so I need to sell this collection. It is time to move on to the next chapter of my life. I will still be involved with AMICA and keep one piano and some rolls, but just enough to keep my interest. I also have many other QRS items for sale that someone might be interested in. Media Mail shipping is available if you are too far from So. Cal to pick them up. rollguyrich@yahoo.com. Thanks, Rich -- (Posted 11 December 14)

For Sale:  Walters upright circa 1908 player piano (manual/electric), along with wooden bench and 23 music rolls. The doors that open to the roll cabinet were changed out when the piano was refurbished several years ago. The stained-glass doors were designed by Arlene Linder, an artist who has paintings in museums and continues to sell her work in galleries. The player mechanics are in working order and the pump pedals and bellows operate normally. There are no stuck keys and all hammers strike and the piano was professionally tuned a few years ago. This piano is in great used condition. See photos and video at http://bit.ly/1tUSiYw. My family purchased this piano in the early 1970s. The wood and workings have been well cared for. For Sale:  Upright Barrel Player unit. This has been in my garage for about 40 years and it's time for it to go! It has drums, a cymbal and a piano kind of stringed unit. The case has brass details and nice carvings. It you want a pretty original piece, this is it, not counting some red felt someone added and some painting of the harp, hammers. It's as I found it and seems complete with two huge pinned player barrels (or what ever they're called), the weight and crank. When I played it 30 years ago, it sounded like a bad dream, needs to be turned and totally restored. I don't know enough about it to list it other than "as is"! The brand, I can't find a tag, doubt it's a Wurlitzer or a North Tonawanda, someone said they are sometimes called roller organs? I doubt it was ever at the center of a carousel? Takes a large multi-tune barrel (there are two), not rolls. Someone painted the striper hammers and harp frame years before I got it. There are no steps involved for it's removal, it's being sold where is and happy to help you or your mover load it. The pick up for shipping would not be tough, though I am in a residence, in a neighborhood. $1,500.00. fisksd@aol.com -- (Posted 11 August 14)

Please e-mail for lists [note the underscore _ between my 2 names]. kevin_mcelhone @btinternet.com [no space before the @ sign of course] -- (Posted 11 August 14)

For Sale:  I have a Chase and Baker piano player for sale. The cabinet is all refinished and I rebuilt the pumps a few years back but the upper stack was good enough to leave alone. It plays great! The linkage controlling the reroll is a little misaligned so you have to fiddle with it to get the music roll to play. I just need to get into it and adjust it. Also included are several Chase and Baker piano rolls that fit this player and are in excellant condition. I'm asking $1500 for it. It's located in Malone NY 12953. That's way up north in New York state up near the Quebec border. If you find Montreal on a map, we are due south by 75 miles. I can be contacted at: dvensel1@twcny.rr.com or by land line phone at: 518-483-5152 or cell at 518-521-5884. Yes, I have pictures to send. Please be serious if you're interested.
