Duo-Art sign
Sign "The Duo-Art Pianola Reproducing Piano"
by Andy Ott (080623 MMDigest)

ott_01.jpg (42 kb)

I recently acquired a glass sign from my parents' neighbors, after telling them about my Steinway Duo-Art.  I'm interested in knowing anything about these signs, what they were used for, and when.

It is beveled glass, measures 13" x 19", and has gold beveled inlay for all the writing.  It has two small holes right through the glass, apparently for hanging by chains.  I have had the sign framed and it now resides on the wall next to my Steinway.

I've sent a photograph for posting at the MMD web site if you are interested in seeing the sign up close.  All information is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
