I saw (and heard) this instrument in a park near Issaquah Washington in August 1983. I believe it was built by an engineer at Boeing. It played using an 8008 or 8080 processor, though it could be played from a keyboard. Steam came from a propane fired residential steam boiler which is in the back of the trailer. You can see the chimney if you look closely. A close-up is available.
