I have a Weber upright that I am slowly restoring.
I Am just finishing restoring a Steinway "cow and calf", with the bellows in a box on the floor under the piano. This piano is an early (teens) D/A with a steamboat pump. The pump is kind of like a V-6 layout compared to later rotary type layouts with four bellows. Steamboat pumps have reducing pulleys to slow the motor speed of 1150rpm to pump speed of 72 rpm. The pulleys are often made of pot metal that grows, shrinks, and breaks with time. I have developed a good replacement for them.
