Michael,
I think the gadget advertised in H-S is the new model sold by QRS (I forget their trade name.) I've seen the ad in the QRS graveyard on AOL. It uses the Pianomation electronics and CD player. I don't know what additional electronics they are using for percussion. There is a 'balance' control for MIDI vs. audio tracks.

Isn't it a shame that QRS can't participate in this discussion group? But they don't even participate in their own area on AOL. They have so much to offer... [stepping down]
