Instruments and Phonographs For Sale

In case you didn't see this, here's an article that appeared today in various for-sale newsgroups.  I thought parts of it might be of interest to readers of our list.  Maybe you can edit out parts that are inappropriate (isn't there already an antique phonographs list?)

Edison Laboratories Mood Music
32 page paper back
A compilation of 112 Edison RE-Creations according to "what they will do for you."  Edison Diamond Disk and the Edison Diamond Disk machine.  c.1921  This is the best one that I have seen out of the few that are still around.
Price is $65.00

Edison Standard Phonograph
Model-B with factory combination attachment, 2&4min.  This machine is also a very fine machine with only a little decal wear near stop/start lever.  Comes with Model-H reproducer and a 14" original black and brass bell horn.
Price is $550.00

Cylinder Record Cabinet
This cabinet holds 150 Cylinder records on 6 swivel style shelves, it is constructed out of quarter saw 'n' oak and the finish is in great shape.  The cardboard cylinder supports have been replaced.

Columbia AZ
Last Pat. date March 30, 1897.  2min, in running order but needs some final touches, also need a columbia needle bar there is an edison one there now.  Aluminum horn is repro.  all decals are original and case decal is most clean.  The nickel bed plate has some flaking but can be renickeled.

Edison Amberola
Model-X.  4min.  This machine is in Fine condition in and out. Although the model-B reproducer has a small chip in the lip on outer edge.

Model-B.  2min.  This machine is just a little less in quality that the Standard machine above.  Comes with a Model-C reproducer and a 14" Black and Brass repro horn.  This machine has an exceptionally strong motor and long pay.

Edison Fireside Phonograph
Model-A Combination.  This machine Plays 2&4 and comes with the Model-K reproducer that plays both 2&4min Cylinders.  The machine it self is in very nice condition all decals are present and in very nice condition.  The horn on this machine is the 19" Edison Maroon 2pc. Fireside Horn in original condition.  This horn is a hard find as most collectors know and tops out on the high side of straight cylinder horns prices.  The horn has 80 to 85% paint left and the decal is in very good condition.  All original except for the crane.

I have a Wm Knabe & Co. Balt, <Gold Medal Pianos Baltimore MD> Square Grand #9908.  This piano includes a bench and history records of owners...  It has heavy carvings on legs and lots of molding and trim. The harp frame is metal not wood.  All original ivorys just a few small chips no uncovered keys. Painted scroll work is in very nice condition.  All original.  $1700.00  or best offer.

I also have a LUIS CASALI SUCor DE POMBIA y Ca, BARCILONA - AMALIA 38.
This is a barrel operated Orchestrion that was made in Spain around he 1890's to 1900's.  The barrel is 45"long and 14" in diameter and plays 9 tunes, instruments include piano, mandolin, zither, snare drum, Cymbal, wood block and bell.  It needs slight case work and the tuning pin board needs to be replaced. In all original condition. The price is at $3500.00 or best offer

Nickelodeon with Piano and Mandolin coin operated or with something like piano, bass drum, wood block and cymbal at a REASONABLE price. Nothing that is going to cost me my life savings. Prefer unrestored or complete but in pieces.

You may also suggest other items.
