  Thanks for sending the information about Silver Beach amusement park near Benton Harbor. It's not shown on my map, but there is a Silver Beach on Mullett Lake near Sheboygan. I guess that's not the place, since you clearly said it was on the Lake  Michigan shore near Benton Harbor.  I will try to locate someone in Benton Harbor who would know something about Silver Beach. Maybe the Library, a historical society or the Chamber of Commerce.  It would be nice to be able to trace the provenance of my North Tonawanda.
  >From what you said it sounds like the place really went bad. I've never been there but of course remember the name from the Heathkit days. I still have one of the first Heathkits I ever built back in the early 50's.
  I have heard nothing about the Silver Beach on Long Island, which was my first guess because the organ had belonged to a guy on Long Island.
