Reproducing Mechanisms in Concert Grands
By Michael Waters

I'm just a little curious as to how many reproducing systems were put into concert grands for public purchase (if any). Or were they only made to special orders for those with lots..... of money?

Is there anyone on the digest who is fortunate enough to own or heard one of these "beasts" of the past (I bet they sound good!!) or any interesting info on this subject.

I mean to say I own a 6'6" Knabe and that sounds good, so how would a 9' reproducer sound in comparison to this!!

There isn't any in Australia that I'm aware of!

Michael
