Thorens Music Box Question ???
By Bill Finch

I'm a Band Organ kind of guy and no little about music boxes. My daughter-in-law's grandfather died recently and left her a small Thorens music box. It plays disks that are aproximately 4.5 inches in diameter. The case is walnut aprox 7x6x3". My guess is (based on the ink on the factory cardboard container) that it was made in the mid to late 50's.

Two questions...

Can she find more disks somewhere (she has six now)... and

Does this thing have any economic value?

Thanks for the help

Bill Finch.
