 Case for Thorens
 By Beatrice Robertson

 | Thorens movements can be placed in almost any case that is the appro- priate size, but if you are an extraordinary craftsman like George Fryer, of Jacksonville, FL, you can duplicate an upright Polyphon case from photographs. George gave a talk about replicating cases and case parts at the last Southeast Chapter MBSI meeting, and brought his Thorens-Polyphon to show as an example of what can be done, given time, patience and a whole lot of skill.
I have attached a photo of George and this beautiful music box as an inspiration to the wordworkers in the group!
