MMD Editorial Practices
By Brett Mohr

After reading John Tuttle's letter on editing the digest I must say that I have taken the comments added to submitted letters for the digest in a completely different light than John.

I have always felt that the comments are intended to try to stimulate further discussion on the subject, what ever it may be. I can't comment on the aspect of editing of articles because I submit very few and have never had one altered in any way.

To conclude my thoughts (right or wrong), I would have to say that I have enjoyed the attempts by Jody and Robbie to make the Digest more personal with a comment here and a little bit of humor there, for it feels more like discussing with friends than reading from a text book.
