Value of Miro Music Box
By John McClelland

We went to an antique estate auction last weekend, which had a lone Miro 13-inch double comb music box. Also included were 32 discs. The box and the disks sold for $3250. I'm not sure of there really 32 disks, it looked more like 15 to me. The box was mahogany and in average condition, the case had a scarred left rear corner, but no severe gashes or gouges.

I thought that the music box folks might like to know that even in Waco, Texas, these things surface every so often.

Best regards,

John McClelland
