Wurlitzer Player Harp
By Bob Ricco

I recollect that Wurlitzer player harps of two varieties, one with a
square case and one with a "harp-shaped" case were traded through
Hathaway and Bowers many years ago. A collector friend of mine owned one
of these unique instruments but lost it in a warehouse fire. It was a
remarkable piece.

I guess there is no end to what instruments can be operated by a roll,
but I believe the idea of roll-operated Highland bagpipes would be near
that end!

Cheers,

Bob Ricco
