FS: Mastertouch Rolls
By Herbert Miller

In a recent MMD it was announced that Mastertouch Piano Roll Company in
Sydney had a new web page. Any subscribers who viewed the page before
yesterday would have been aware of a variation in the pricing of rolls
which depended on which country you lived in.

It appears that Mastertouch had not considered the impact or the
consequences of such a policy from either their local wholesaler's
viewpoint or from the viewpoint of domestic customers. Ah, the
tyranny of the World Wide Web.

Any subscribers who care to visit the Mastertouch page now will notice
that these variable prices have been removed.

To help ensure that we at Cooling Miller Player Pianos and our loyal
customers are not prejudiced by such a policy we hereby make the
following offer to all overseas (outside Australia) roll purchasers.

Any retail price quoted to you by Mastertouch which is below the price
the rolls are retailed at in Australia by Mastertouch, simply fax or
snail mail the Mastertouch document to us at Cooling Miller Player Pianos
and we will offer you the same goods at a further 10% discount.

This offer is not applicable to any advertised specials or promotions
which Mastertouch may undertake for a limited period where the discounted
price of their rolls is the same locally as it is overseas. Nor do we in
anyway, by this offer, wish to denigrate either Mastertouch's good name
or their products.

Our fax number is: 011 613 9737 9405

Snail mail: Cooling Miller Player Pianos
            Reply Paid Post 121

            Note, no stamp is required.

[ "No stamp required?" This is news to me! I thought that all
[ international mail is required to have valid postage stamps affixed
[ which show the country of origin and denomination. -- Robbie
