QRS Square Chuck Rolls
By D. L. Bullock

I found a couple of QRS rolls recently that have me baffled. They are
small like 65 note, but have no pins out the ends. Instead they have
holes but smaller than modern roll flanges. The drive end has a square
hole for a chuck that must have been about the diameter of the pin on a
65 note roll. The note holes are large like 65 note. The labels give no
clue as to what they play. Does someone recognize the square chuck roll
as going to their instrument?
