Printing Words on Music Rolls
By Dan Wilson, London

Terry Smythe said about Rex Lawson's system for printing words
on rolls:-

> Perhaps Rex could be persuaded to document how he synchronized
> the words to the music, something quite critical. Without such
> synchronization, I imagine the words could easily slip out of
> synch throughout the length of the roll, particular being
> friction driven.

I have copied this message to Rex by mail -- he gets MMD from me a
month late on floppy disk -- but if anyone wants to get in contact with
him, he's currently at Keystone Music Rolls computerizing their system,
and will be there for another week or two.
