B.A.B. DID Make Book Music
By Ron Bopp

Did B.A.B. make book music? There are several books (red cardboard)
made by B.A.B. Music which I have copied and re-punched for my 52-key
Bruder. For the most part they are pleasant-sounding tunes of the day.

For plain listening to, however, they become boring because they
apparently were made "double length" for carousel use, and after
awhile ... well, you know what I mean.

Ron Bopp

[ "Double-length" is a trick to double the price. Book music requires
[ so much labor to punch that it is priced by the meter; so two, or more,
[ copies were punched together, and then spliced end-to-end. Are the
[ book-music songs duplicates of other B.A.B. roll songs? -- Robbie
