Light Finish on Piano
By Meta Brown

Recent discussions on dark piano finishes now have me wondering about
my piano which has a light finish. I have a Chickering piano which has
been refinished, I don't know when this was done, but the piano is
roughly the color of Tweety Bird. I have been debating with myself
about whether to have the piano refinished when it is restored. Could
the first refinishing have affected the wood in any way that would
affect my options for restoring the finish?
