 Subject: Rooky

Hi! My name is Tom Dickson. I am presently a full-time school
teacher, and a part-time piano tuner. This will change soon, as
I move to full-time tuning.

One of my clients has a Willis piano that used to be a player --
the insides are "missing". She was wondering about the viability of
refurbishing it to it's original condition.

Could a query be put on your newsletter for help in finding the
original parts, or to having alternatives suggested? The piano in
question is a Willis, # 17538 (circa 1917 ).

I did not do any in-depth observations during my tuning to identify the
type of machinery required. I am not sure as to what the compatible
player mechanism manufacturer is.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely yours,

Tom Dickson
