Overlapping Divisions in MIDI Organ Files

We had the same problems in Holland, and we now use a slightly changed
MIDI-scale.  By transposing the bass to melody scale an octave down,
there is place in the notes from C8 to C10 for counter-melody notes.
The drum section is transposed to the lowest octave, C0.  In that way
all notes will play from one channel.  We use this scale for arranging
music as well.  The original files are converted by a ".cal"-program
[Cakewalk] to fit the new scale.  If you are interested I could send
the Dutch MIDI-organ scale to you.
