Internet Book Searching

Some time in the last six months, I recall seeing posted here a method
for finding old books for sale.  My key-word search has not turned up
that information.  Could it be re-posted again?

It seems that the MMDer reported great success for finding what they
were seeking.  The method was the make a specific inquiry, and the
service found the book -- or something like that.
