"Max Kortlander: Life on a Roll"

I am preparing a program for the Texas Chapter of AMICA on the life,
music and business sense of Max Kortlander.  The title for my program
is "Max Kortlander: Life on a Roll."

If anyone out there would like to share their personal impressions
of Mr. Kortlander, please contact me at  The program
will begin at 2:00 PM on September 13, 1998, at the Fielder House
Museum in Arlington, Texas.  The Program will probably consist of a
brief biographical sketch, followed by various examples of his art,
and a discussion of how he managed to help keep QRS afloat through some
very lean years.

Admission to the museum for this event is free, and the public is
