Seek Rolls for Player Organette
By William G. Meyer

Hello all MMD subscribers ! I could use some help in sourcing some
recut rolls for a Munroe Organ Reed Co. organette (pictured on pg. 760
of the Bowers encyclopedia). The piece has 14 playing notes with an 8"
space between the runners for the roll.

The Bowers book states the unit uses the "McTammany System" which
elsewhere in the book shows the rolls to be 7-3/4" wide; I'm not sure
what the proper roll width should be. Any clarification on proper roll
width and help in obtaining some rolls would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Bill Meyer
