Repetition Problem in Yamaha Grand
By George Bartlett

I have this customer who says that his grand is slowing down in touch.
I am looking for information on what in particular I should be looking
for when I pull the action other than the usual repetition levers,
springs, bushings etc. This Yamaha Grand is a six footer and was made
in the latter 1960s or early '70s.

The slowness problem I feel is not that serious; however, this person
often compares his piano to others and he finds that his is suffering
in this in area in general feel and slowness of repetition.

Thank you,
George Bartlett
