Baldwin Players & A. J. Norris Co.
By Steven Phelps

A few days back I posted about my Baldwin (#17917) player piano
that is missing its action stack. I have been trying to determine
what kind of stack was in it originally.

I have recently discovered a name on the casting for the foot pump
hinge that operates the bellows. It reads "patd. 1900 AJ Norris".
I have also heard that Norris was a manufacturer of pianos of that era.
Perhaps they made the Baldwin player mechanisms? Does anyone on the
list have knowledge of Norris or Baldwin Players of that era?

Thanks in advance
Steven Phelps
