Octet Systems' Laurent Coray Dies
By Stephen Kent Goodman

Dear MMDers, I received a message this morning with the sad news that
Laurent Coray, developer of the wonderful Octet MIDI adapter system,
died on July 18 from cancer.

I have no news regarding who will be taking over his work.

Sincerely,

Stephen Kent Goodman

[ Sad, indeed; Laurent was hardly 40, I suppose. About a year ago
[ the specialists said he was suffering from an inoperable brain
[ tumor. I believe that his widow is now arranging for the sale
[ of the Octet product line to Laurent's co-worker friends.
 [ We're awaiting more details. -- Robbie
