Roll-making Page at Artcraft Web Site

Hello MMD readers,  We have just launched a new music roll URL for our
Internet pages.  This is a photo gallery, with explanatory text, which
shows the "out of doors" perforating we did in August '99 on the shores
of the Maine Coast.

If anything, it illustrates that a master roll can be cut with
"graduated striking" to simulate human fingers when playing complex
rhythmic music ... if one can 'imagine' the key depression times and
assign these to the various perforations and staccato effects.

All the stills were made from Hi8 video into the JPEG format.  Here's
